  • I MUST SAY IM VERY VERY VERY PLEASED and this will be my go-to monitor. LOVE IT. feels a little cheap but it keeps the weight off of your rig. A MUST HAVE
  • For those who don't know, getting an external monitor allows you to record in a lot higher quality than your camera can alone. Cameras are generally built for still shots but are capable of shooting video, these external recorders work through your camera to record high quality videos. The Andycine is light and has awesome brightness so you don't need a hood for the most part. The UI is decent but I really like how they throw in a mount with it.Pros- Great intro monitor- Lightweight- Ultra bright- Good quality recording- Comes with a mountCons- UI takes some time getting used too- Adds weight to your camera setup
  • what would make this monitor (SDI HDMI version) almost perfect? a built-in waveform. not sure why a histogram is the only option. otherwise, yes, this screen is incredibly bright and the case feels robust. bought to replace a very old Marshall monitor and having a battery life readout is blissful!
  • Great build quality really sturdy. The image is really bright for using in outdoor shooting. It takes npf batteries and also has a dc output wich is very convenient for powering some extra devices.
  • I have a lot of mics for different purposes, but I was looking for something that was portable, that could get good sound and not require a battery. I came across the Andycine AC-M1 and this little microphone certainly does the trick. I really like the small size and the quality of the audio. It's great for a vlogger or someone that has a camera mounted to a tripod that is a couple of feet away. Also it comes with a dead cat(wind muffler or whatever you like to call it), a spare shock mount, a stereo cable for your camera and a second cable that will work with your phone. You can get a sample of the audio quality in video.
  • This cage compliments my Andycine A6 4k monitor perfectly. It's lightweight, it comes assembled all you have to do is put the monitor in place then screw it in at the top and you are good. It does not add a lot of weight to your rig if you are running and gunning. There are openings so that you can read every port and slot on your monitor from the card reader to the power button so you will not lose any access points. There are also a lot of screw holes around the entire cage so that you can add extension arms and other gadgets so you can really get creative with your add ons. I really like that! Another thoughtful feature is the HDMI cable clamp that is an add-on so you can use it or not use it but it keeps your HDMI cables clamped in so you won't have to worry about them falling out during recording. I think this is a great feature. I love this cage and so far have no complaints. I will purchase another one for my other monitor.
  • I have made a little unboxing video to accompany my review. This monitor offers great value for money, you have a crystal clear screen with little to no latency and a very robust feel. I wouldn't want to drop it but I think it would survive the odd drop. You get a great carry case and it's incredibly lightweight for a monitor. You can power it via USB-C if you have a powerbank. Setup is painless and works well for everything I need it for and the touchscreen is fairly accurate but I prefer to use the navigation buttons on the top.Great product and great value for money!
  • Spent quite a few days looking into field monitors across all price ranges. I made up some cardboard mockups to see what screen size would be most useful and the 6 inch Andycine and Feelworld (think they're the same) looked to be ideal. The monitor is lightweight but I'm hoping that Andycine or someone else will soon make a cage for the monitor as I wouldn't like to be too heavy handed with it. Saying that the touch screen works well and the monitor is bright and easy to use. The functionality is excellent and I supplement the camera output with the Waveforms and focus assist. The size is perfect for travelling and it balances well on the camera or magic arm. After using this monitor I will now be looking at a 7 inch for indoor use and also as a monitor for my gigging keyboard rig as I can hide the laptop away.To summarise - great product at a reasonable price.
  • I was really impressed with the brightness on this small on camera monitor. It's a great size, especially for smaller camera set ups. It comes with a bunch of accessories including a padded protective case, HDMI cables and power supply. It is a little disappointing that this does not include any batteries but there is a UK mains power supply in the box.If you are more likely to be using this outside of a studio environment then I would suggest picking up a couple of batteries. Luckily these are the same type of batteries that power most photography lights so I had plenty of spare ones about.A little tip, if you dial back the brightness on the monitor it saves a huge amount of battery. It's so bright that this is not a problem and even in direct sunlight you are unlikely to have to use it at full brightness. The ability to add LUTs via SD card and features such as false colours, focus peaking and more makes this a great monitor all round and the size is perfect for travel.
  • This is a really good monitor for people who work outside. I shoot a lot of golf and I can see this monitor very clearly. It shows you what your colors are and is good value for the money. I’d recommend this monitor to anyone.
  • This monitor is really useful for the price, the only thing im little worried is about the battery capacity, also when i opened it it had a little scratch on it, i don't think it is affecting the performance of the monitor but i definitely was a little complained about that. Maybe the amps capacity is too low in, and you could offer a slightly bigger one in capacity. Other than that the monitor has really nice features. And i recommend it. (Luts importation, Focus Assistant, Touch Screen, Waveform) I think It is the best budget monitor you can get.
  • I live in sunny Southern California and I love how bright this monitor is in pure daylight. I don't use a hood with it but that's because I don't need one. I use it with the GH5S and I feel that a monitor of this kind is essential because of that camera's inarticulate screen.Having this as a dedicated monitor on my gimbal allows for me to switch set-ups with my camera with ease and efficiency. In the future I plan on switching this monitor over to a handheld client monitor rig for viewing purposes or follow-focus rig depending on the shoot and it feels good knowing I can get that kind of versatility out
