Camera Accessories

  • This cage compliments my Andycine A6 4k monitor perfectly. It's lightweight, it comes assembled all you have to do is put the monitor in place then screw it in at the top and you are good. It does not add a lot of weight to your rig if you are running and gunning. There are openings so that you can read every port and slot on your monitor from the card reader to the power button so you will not lose any access points. There are also a lot of screw holes around the entire cage so that you can add extension arms and other gadgets so you can really get creative with your add ons. I really like that! Another thoughtful feature is the HDMI cable clamp that is an add-on so you can use it or not use it but it keeps your HDMI cables clamped in so you won't have to worry about them falling out during recording. I think this is a great feature. I love this cage and so far have no complaints. I will purchase another one for my other monitor.
  • I ordered this cage for use with the Andycine A6PLUS, and was impressed with the build quality and fit. I was a bit surprised to see little to nothing in the way of operating instructions, but if you've worked with cages for video equipment before, it shouldn't be too much trouble to figure out. The weight is just about what I expected, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
  • The Andycine cage and sunhood was just what my A6PLUS needed. Everything installed perfectly, functions well, and looks good.
  • Very nice cage for the atomos ninja V, solid build quality, and tons of ways to add accessories, but the best thing is the secure HDMI and the sunhood, are great addition for the price, plus your are also protecting your Atomos.
  • I was hesitant to buy a cage for my Ninja V simply because I didn't want the added weight, but the price was right for this one so I gave it a short. It's very light and the fit, although not perfect (the curves in the corners are tighter than the Ninja) is very very close to perfect and more than good enough. It seems sturdy and doesn't block anything while adding a ton of mounting options, nato rails on top and bottom are very handy. It doesn't offer a ton of extra protection to the screen but seems like it would save a drop if the monitor landed on an edge which seems to be the entire point. The HDMI clamp is not pictured on the Ninja V in the listing...but it will fit and function properly on a Ninja, it just needs to be mounted backwards with the M3 screws TOWARDS the screen. This doesn't cause any issues since the wing nuts are adjustable and easy to get away from the screen and the HDMI clamp mounts on the cage in either direction. The HDMI clamp also sticks out a hair further on the back of the cage which adds more support for SSD drives. Overall it's well worth the $70
  • A great addition in a filmmaker's equipment list. It is lightweight and the pocket size makes it a great tool to have it always in my bag. Build quality is very high and it has a terrific and very sturdy metal construction. The colors it produces are rich, saturated and very accurate. The brightness levels are very high both in CCT and RGB modes.Battery life at max power is 2 hours and charging it full takes close to 3 hours. Thankfully there's a USB type C port.It becomes quite hot when in full power which is normal for being so small. Although the aluminium construction helps to dissipate the heat a lot and it cools very fast.In general it is a great product of high value and a very useful tool. I recommend you get 2 or more of them so you can have more possibilities lighting a scene. I got one and then bought another.
  • The Rhino monitor mount is a great accessory for run 'n gun filming. It lets you adjust the position of the monitor with no tools, just by using one hand and no need to screw and tighten anything. It holds my monitor with two NP-F970 batteries without moving because you can tighten both axis with a hex key and get the correct friction you need according to the weight of the monitor. It's made of metal, it has a solid build quality and is very sturdy on my rig.Lastly, the grooves in the thumb screw makes mounting/unmounting of the monitor very easy.
  • This is a great light. I use it for video mainly and the battery last pretty long, but it is very bright and very powerful for it's size. I had an issue with it blinking when recharging it. I spoke with tech support and they told me it requires a 5V/2A charger block minimum. I put it on a new one and no issues. FYI most cell phone USB charging blocks are 1A or 1.5A read the back of it to be sure. I love the preset modes for lightning, strobe, police lights, etc. Very cool! Overall great light for the money.
  • I was skeptical about this small light but man it packs a punch. The amount of colors that you can get out of it is insane. The color accuracy is fantastic as well. Built like a tank to doesn't feel cheap feels well made. The only thing I wish it had was a magnetic back but you probably can put a magnet on velcro and be good to go. This light is half the cost of its competitors but last longer and has more color options.
  • The amount of colors and brightness on this tiny light are incredible. I honestly didn't think that such a small light could pack so much power. I was using a cheaper $40 light before this that was much bigger and wasn't hardly as bright. If you're looking for a good on camera light just spend a little bit more and get this one. It's very easy to use and love that the scroll wheel on the side has a satisfying click. Build quality is also excellent. Very happy with it so far.
  • Upon unboxing this, I was extremely impressed. I had my doubts at first, as I had used other external portable lights before, and was never super impressed, but this blew me away. It was like giving an iPhone to a caveman. Below are my pros and cons:Pros:- Incredibly Bright- Durable Build Quality- Full RGB support (360 colors)- Overheating Protection- Size (about the size of an iPhone X, and about 3/4 of an inch thick)- USB-C Charging (much faster charging and fits together with future equipment)- Lighting patterns- Adjustable Kelvin Temperatures (2500K-7000K)- The screen on the backside to adjust settings- Great built-in battery life.- Light panel diffuses light very nicely.Cons:- The provided cord is only about 1 foot. Not that big of a deal.Overall, I am very impressed! Most external lights I've used were significantly bigger, felt cheap, weren't as bright, required external power, etc. For someone who needs a light while they're on the field, I'd most definitely use this. I also really appreciated smaller features like overheating protection, as well as the adjustable kelvin that allows you to use this as a fill light that can match any setting perfectly. If you want a high-quality light that can do just about everything, id recommend this!
  • This is a very very small light with a punch, it has 3 stages of intensity, and is pretty soft for its size. This one is the canon battery and also can be turn on with a external battery using a type C cable and no battery inserted. It has a 1/4 inch mount at the bottom also is very portable, a must in your kit, as could work as a catch light or a quick highlight on your subject.
