7inch HDMI Monitor

  • In my opinion the best monitor money can buy, resolution is great and so sharp. But you have to consider to get the mount and battery separately
  • The Andycine X7S is a great entry level professional monitor!Having SDI makes this a valuable monitor. If you know you’ll eventually get a camera that has SDI, spending the extra $ will be well invested.I use a small hd monitor on a daily basis. the main difference I can make is the matte finish. The small hd looks more crisp, because of the glossy display. That’s more of a personal preference. The one battery slot means you don’t get as much battery life compared to twoThe metal construction is nice and feels like it can take a few knocks. But I’ve also noticed this monitor gets warm to the touch after 30 minutes to an hour after being on.Would like to see an improvement in build especially keeping it cooler. Perhaps a rubberized grip would provide better ergonomics.
  • It is a great on camera monitorWorks great with my Sony A7iiiLight weightIt has three sides standard screw interfaceso I can easily mount with smallrig cage or any brand gimbal (weebil lab
  • I have a camera that I use to take photos mostly outdoor, but as you can see, the screen is small and dark. Not ideal if you like to check your work right away for any flaws. So I was looking at options for portable monitor which could be used for that exact purpose. My criteria for the monitor was resolution, brightness, and size. Although bigger the better, a standard photo print size is more applicable IMO.I decided to give X7 a shot, and boy I am in love with my new gadget. The first reaction I got when I turn on the screen was "Geez that's bright." Then I had to lower the brightness by more than 50 indoor to protect my eyes haha. When I was testing it outdoor on a sunny day, I find it very comfortable to look at with 80 to 90 brightness. The 4K screen beats the little crappy screen on the camera hands down. Also, I have noticed the screen is non-glare, I can comfortably see the pictures without shielding the screen, like I always had to with any camera, even my iPhone.Very satisfied with it so far. I would update if I find anything else worth sharing! :)
  • I had been trying to decide which monitor to buy for a while now and after doing a bit of research decided to buy the X7 by ANDYCINE as I was looking for a monitor that would work really well in bright sunny conditions; as reading the screen on the back of my Lumix camera in a nightmare in bright sun. I was a little worried when it arrived as it didn’t come with any type of pop out of Velcro on sunshade but as you can see from the video this was no problem. The monitor is so bright it really doesn’t need one.As for the features it contains most of what you would expect from a top end monitor. It has a pass-through HDMI out, it displays Histogram, False Colours, Focus Peaking. The Focus Peaking is such a useful feature as this is quite difficult to view on the back of my Lumix camera but using this monitor means it’s easy to make sure everything is in focus. It comes with a really nice quality hard case, shoe mount, battery plate but be aware there is no battery included. It does include a mini HDMI cable and power cable. It would have been nice to include a battery for this price, but I have a few of these at home already and the monitor is such good quality I have no regrets with my purchase. Hopefully it will last a very long time.
  • It sets up very quick, and it doesn't take long to get good at moving through its menus and settings. This monitor has a histogram and the ability to zoom in to check fine focus. Though all my cameras have the same features, the 7'' size of this monitor makes it easier for me. The monitor also gives a better indication of the quality of the image by rendering true colors and being a little larger in size. I now use this monitors advanced features such as zebra pattern and peaking to allow me to get better images. It with ultra brightness,I shoot in outdoor can show clearly but the battery not enough to use long time, recommend buy more battery to use it......
  • This is the best monitor I ever bought. The monitor is super bright so you can easily film in the sunshine. Also the monitor is super sharp because of the 4K.
  • I love the size and all the features. The menu buttons aren't great, and no touch screen, but it performs wonderfully nonetheless. You can set up three of the menu buttons for user presets, and it with 2200unit that's all I need. enjoy use it in outdoor , awesome product!
  • Very feature-packed, but what brings a lot of value is the brightness this screen has at this price tier. Can monitor your shot while outside in full daylight. Construction seems solid. Looking forward to testing it out some more in the coming weeks to see how it performs in a typical production environment.
  • I was looking for something that would be a larger display for my Canon c200. Because some important features like LUTs and Waveform are only carried over the SDI signal and not the HDMI, I chose this monitor. It has great features like false color and waveforms despite being very light and manageable. Image is more than bright enough to see in full sun. Good purchase.
